When I first set up this website I was encouraged to start a blog.As I have something interesting or amusing to say about three times a year,this did not seem like a good idea.However having browsed several blogs this does not seem to have inhibited other bloggers, so in the depths of winter when there is not a lot to do,maybe I should give it a try.

This will not be a “We went to a restaurant yesterday and one of the children vomited” type of blog.There are plenty around recounting the banalities of everyday life.Rather it will be me sounding off about the joys,absurdities, and idiosyncratic features of life here in France and indeed anywhere else,and of course information about the property market.
